Since we are professional scrap car dealers, we can ensure you that the process to recycle your old car is a relatively simple one. We come to you to collect the vehicle and we provide you with all the required documents and fill in the relevant section of the V5 Logbook (as shown on the right) for you. Your only responsibility is to send the V5 document to DVLA. This is a necessary component in the process to ensure compliance with the DVLA / ELV (end of life vehicle) terms and conditions so that we can trade legally.

The car recycling procedure begins by removing electrical sources such as the car battery and interior window motors. After this, hazardous chemicals that are present in the vehicle are drained, then tyres and other parts are taken off. According to condition and safety checks, re-usable parts may be recycled and sold.

Usable and recyclable parts typically include anything from complete (or part) engines to car batteries and tyres to the speakers for your car’s stereo system.
